Life-Tech Nerve Block Needles
A family of short bevel point insulated hypodermic needles for nerve location in regional block anesthesia.
INSULATED
REGIONAL NERVE BLOCK NEEDLES
Life-Tech's nerve block needles are available in three styles and three tip
designs. Each style and tip design is available in several gauges and lengths
to meet the requirements of a wide variety of nerve block procedures. Medical
grade insulation on all needles localizes the stimulating current to the needle
tip.
LASER-STRIPPING TECHNOLOGY
· Provides clean insulation removal with sharp,
defect-free boundary.
· Creates limited conductive area on lumen side of
needle tip to localize stimulation to the anesthetic's exit point.
· Produces consistent conductive areas in
different size needles insuring repeatable stimulation characteristics from
procedure to procedure.
NEEDLE TIP DESIGNS
Block Bevel with Sleeve Insulation
· Provides maximum uninsulated tip exposure.
Block Bevel Laser-Stripped Tip
· Meets requirements of anesthesiologists who
prefer a blunter needle tip to minimize nerve trauma.
Chiba Tip with Ground Conductive Area
· Meets requirements of anesthesiologists who
prefer a sharper needle to minimize tissue trauma and maximize needle control.
ERGONOMICALLY DESIGNED TRANSPARENT HUB
· Molded arrow provides both visual and tactile
indication of bevel orientation.
· Easy to hold and manipulate.
· Enables easy observation of aspirated blood
without contaminating the injection tubing set.
EZ-CLIP QUICK CONNECTOR
Allows quick easy connection of needles without pre-attached stimulating wire.
Combining these needles with EZ-Clip creates a convenient and cost-effective
regional nerve block needle system.
ProBloc Single Shot Needles
HN1 Style style – Needle only
HN2 Style style – Needle with injection tube attached
HN3S and PB (Chiba-tip) style – Needle with injection tubing and stimulating cable attached.
Available in 25mm, 40mm, 50mm, 80mm, 100mm, 120mm, and
150mm lengths, in 20, 22, or 25 gauge diameter (depending on needle length).
ProBloc SC Design
25 gauge and short-bevel point make these the needles of choice for procedures like: Interscalene approach to the brachial plexus, Pediatric plexus blocks, and Botox blocks.
